Tata Projects has been selected by Yamuna International Airport Private Limited (YIAPL) for the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of the Noida International Airport (NIA). Runway, terminals, airside infrastructure, landside facilities, and other buildings will be built by the developer. The company has beaten Shapoorji, Larsen and Toubro in bagging this contract. 

The first phase is expected to get completed in two years, as the airport is supposed to be ready by 2024. The airport is being developed as a public-private partnership between Zurich Airports and Uttar Pradesh Government. An investment of Rs. 5,700 crores for phase 1 and a tie-up of around Rs. 3,725 crores as debt with State Bank of India for the project has been made by Zurich Airport.

The Noida International Airport will be a digital airport, having facilities like contactless travel, personalised services for families, efficient passenger flow all of this while being environmentally responsible by keeping its commitment to minimise impact on ecology.
